There are many variables when it comes to pricing a flight including the type of aircraft used and the airports accessed. Different airports have different landing and parking charges so to provide an accurate quote we'll need to understand your mission. Wells Aviation has a policy of responding to enquiries either immediately on the phone, or within 60 minutes if the mission is more complex.
Having said that, we understand that it can be frustrating not to get some understanding of cost from a website (a peeve of ours) so we provide as much information as we can. The hourly rates for our aircraft are $540-990 per hour, which equates to per-seat cost of $98-330. People are often surprised at the affordability of private air charter compared to other forms of transportation.
The aircraft hourly rates include the cost of your pilot and all other aircraft operating costs including insurance, fuel, and maintenance. The price is dependent on which aircraft is used for your mission and the flight time required. For longer flights we can often provide better hourly rates because we are able to amortise the costs over more hours.
The Cessna 182 is the least expensive to operate with the lowest hourly rate. The Cirrus SR22 is the fastest and highest performance aircraft in the fleet so its flight times are shorter but it's also the most expensive aircraft to run, with the highest acquisition cost. It was purchased new in 2017.
For regular and repeat customers we provide discounting. Irrespective of whether you are new or a regular user our services, we will always do our best to provide you with the best price without ever compromising on the quality of our service or safety.
